I am almost 18 years old, male, and I have never been able to have a door. Is this normal?

Relax pal, you're not alone. I wasn't allowed to close my door EVER when I lived in my Mom's house. There's nothing you can do about it. Just wait until you move out. Mom's house, Mom's rules.
