Why do Right wingers think it is bad to invest in America?

At a time when America's economy is in crisis and our jobs picture is gloomy; it is clearly obvious that investing in science technology, research and development, infrastructure and innovation is the key for building our economy. The right wingers on the other hand think that cutting spending and tax cuts is the answer. No it is not. An example of this is in Britain where the conservative government is cutting spending across the board and as a result their economy is slowing down. The Republicans think that investing in America is wasteful spending but fighting wars for other countries like Israel and Saudi Arabia is necessary. Why Republicans do thing it is bad to invest in America and you guys say you are for job creation? Please give me your thoughts and ideas. Thanks
