What should I do about my over protected boyfriend?

okay so i've been dating this guy for 7 weeks today, and well he is really protected (at least that what i think it is) and its kinda of annoying. for example i was on the phone early when he called i told him i was talking to my best friend and that i would call him later and when i did call him back he was like, "if you don't mind me asking, who were you talking to?" and i told him. another time was when i was over at his house and asked when we broke up the 2nd time (this is the 3rd time we are dating) if there was anybody i like when we broke up the second time. i couldn't lie to him and i told him yes. then he asked who, and i told him you wouldn't know him, but he wouldn't give up till i told him. then he told me, "i couldn't even thing of you with another guy." then he told me, "even if we did break up i wont know what to do if i saw you with another guy." one last example is i had this really good guy friend and we use to talk and my boyfriend is always asking if me and my guy friend talk. and i've told him it's been months since we talk, yet he still asks. i find his over protectiveness annoying, would you? i don't know what to do, i mean i like him (i think) but its just so annoy and i feel like i have no privacy. what should i do? and if you question the (i think) its just i kinda like some other guys at my school and yet im dating him so i don't really know were i stand on our relationship. so any and all help would be great, thank!!!
