How do I keep my Facebook sharing settings from reverting back to the options that wasn't selected?

What is happening is I have several photo albums in which I want certain ones shown to certain people. Therefore, what I do is I go into my profile, click Photos, then click on each album individually. From there I scrolled down to Share on, clicked on Share and chose for example-Friends and when I hover my mouse, it shows my selection, then I choose Save Settings, then Share Album. The problem is that when I click on share again, it doesn't show the option I selected. So, I'm not sure if the albums are being shown to the intended people or not. I even tried selecting the link to the photo and copying and pasting it to the intend person via private message. I just want to make sure the right photos go to the right people. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
